The art in 293 was pretty bad, I hated it when I first read the issue.
I agree with Adam that Lobdell’s Storm is weak and dependent on finding a man…not what we have grown used to during the Claremont Era.
Looking forward to hearing your reactions to the X-Cutioners Song., I really enjoyed it for the first 10 issues…the ending wasn’t satisfying at all.
Did the guys retire? Did they get canceled or snowed in somewhere? Is this some sort of 3 month gap and when we return Chris Claremont will be hosting the Podcast? (Late 90s X-men joke).
I almost listened to an episode of Battle of the Atom, but I decided to go outside and shovel snow instead.
The Patreon is still open but “paused” so I’m taking that to mean they’re still around just taking a break. Maybe a really long holiday break or something. I’m not sure who gave them permission to have lives outside of us, though.
